These past few weeks we have been focused on fall and Halloween and last week we learned about some animals that live in the jungle. We did alot of gluing crafts and some painting. Many are still having an issue with getting their hands sticky or dirty. We finished October with our Halloween parade. One class enjoyed showing off their costumes and the other class, not so much. We are now ready to shift into holiday mode, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
These next few weeks encompassing Thanksgiving and Christmas will fly by. We have alot of fun activities and art projects planned, and we have already started practicing our songs for the Christmas concert. We know the public schools, Chapel Hill/Carrboro and Chatham County, have off all of Thanksgiving week. We are open on Monday and Tuesday and if your child will not be in class please let us know so we can plan accordingly. When we return from Thanksgiving break we have only 2 1/2 weeks till we break for Christmas. Our concert is on Wednesday December 18 and invite our Tuesday/Thursday green frogs to join the festivities. Keep an eye out for future posts with more details.
Thank you, Ms. Linda and Ms. Melissa
